Privacy & Cookie Policy

Last updated July 9, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy & Cookie Policy explains how CommonLogic.ai ("we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit commonlogic.ai, contact us, or use our services and the Aido product. We aim to collect only what we need, be clear about why, and give you control over your information.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a contact or demo request form, sign up, or email us, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, work email, company, and the content of your message.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our analytics provider automatically collect standard technical and usage data — such as your IP address (which Google Analytics truncates), device and browser type, pages viewed, referring page, and approximate location — through cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies & Analytics” below).

3. Cookies & Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (for example _ga and _ga_<id>) to distinguish visitors and measure sessions. These are analytics cookies — they are not strictly necessary for the site to function.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Analytics is not loaded on our development or preview environments.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to respond to your inquiries and demo requests, provide and support our services and the Aido product, understand and improve site performance and content, keep the site secure, and meet our legal and contractual obligations. Where the law requires a lawful basis (for example under the GDPR), we rely on your consent, our legitimate interest in operating and improving our business, or the performance of a contract with you.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf and under contract — for example Google (analytics) and Microsoft (Azure and Microsoft 365, used to deliver our services and integrations) — and where required by law or to protect our rights. Consulting engagements are additionally governed by the confidentiality terms in the applicable statement of work.

6. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy — for example, to maintain our business records, respond to and follow up on inquiries, and meet legal obligations. Google Analytics data is retained according to the retention period configured on our analytics property, after which it is automatically deleted or aggregated.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information — including the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of it, and to object to or restrict certain processing. If you are in the EEA or UK, these rights arise under the GDPR; if you are a California resident, under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (note that we do not sell personal information).

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@commonlogic.ai. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers (including Google and Microsoft) may process information in the United States and other countries. Where personal information is transferred out of the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as the transfer mechanisms and contractual protections offered by those providers — as required by applicable law.

10. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are intended for businesses and the professionals who work for them. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy & Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

12. Contact

Questions or requests about this policy or your personal information can be sent to hello@commonlogic.ai.
